Golden Rule Immigration Services is a small immigration law practice led by an experienced attorney with 17 years of service at USAID and 25 working outside of the United States. Many of those years, I worked across continents to support people in crisis and transition. Guided by compassion, integrity, and a deep commitment to justice, the firm provides personalized legal support to immigrants seeking consular support, humanitarian, family- or employment-based immigration solutions. With a global perspective and a heart for service, Golden Rule Immigration helps clients build new lives with dignity. We will treat your immigration journey as if it were our own.
This practice is completely virtual. If you need in-person representation, I will help you find an immigration attorney in your area.

We represent individuals and families seeking protection through asylum, VAWA petitions, U visas, T visas, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and humanitarian parole. Our mission is to stand with the vulnerable and guide them through some of the most urgent and sensitive immigration matters.

We help families stay together through petitions for spouses, children, parents, and other eligible relatives. Whether you’re sponsoring a family member or adjusting your status, we provide compassionate, knowledgeable guidance every step of the way.

From skilled workers to global executives, we assist individuals and employers with work visas, labor certifications, and employment-based green cards. Our experience navigating complex immigration regulations ensures your case moves forward efficiently.

We support clients with visa applications, consular processing, and waivers through U.S. embassies and consulates abroad. With global experience and cultural sensitivity, we help ensure clear communication and a smoother process at every stage.

As one of many USAID employees currently being transitioned out of Federal Service, I want to say up front: I truly loved working for USAID. It was a privilege to serve alongside exceptional colleagues who represented the kindness, generosity, and global leadership of the American people. It’s rare to find work you love, with people you admire, that leaves you knowing — not just hoping — that you’ve made a difference in someone’s life. For me, that meant improving the lives of millions.
I am deeply passionate about international work and have been honored to collaborate with diverse teams across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. With a background in law and international relations, I offer a unique blend of legal reasoning, diplomatic insight, and an ability to navigate bureaucratic processes. Throughout my career at USAID, I was always drawn to immigration. In each of the countries that we have called home — Jamaica, Latvia, Peru, Colombia, Afghanistan, Tanzania, and South Africa — I have invested time in helping friends and friends of friends understand consular processing, visa applications, and the immigration process to the United States.
Additionally, as I moved into immigration law with the arrival of Trump 2.0, I found immigration lawyers to be friendly, knowledgeable, willing mentors/welcoming, and driven by a righteous cause. After years at USAID, that passion and expertise felt familiar and attractive. I am excited to pursue something that feels connected to my values with people committed to the same cause.
I am Fluent in Spanish and I’ve spent most of my professional life flexing cross-cultural collaboration muscles. I am anxious to help those seeking a better life. I want to be the advocate that helps your journey, even in these unstable times, be as smooth as possible. For me, immigration law is a field where law and human dignity intersect, and I am committed to bringing both my experience and passion to the work.
